July 1st is always a big thing in Lockeport. Tons of friends that moved away coming back, all the Graduates come back, Along with tons of tourists and other people you have never seen before are around. In Lockeport, The streets are surprising crowded and street venders make a large bit of money (I was one of them, I know. Over $100 just selling balloon animals :-))
